Plant-Dyed Yarn Kit - Organic Coreopsis Flowers

Have you ever wanted to try plant-dyeing yourself? This kit is the perfect way to start your dyeing journey and it makes a fun gift for friends too.

The kit contains two 20g Masham 4 ply mini skeins, dried organic coreopsis flowers and full instructions for three dye techniques. Also included are tags to label your beautiful new yarn and some fun coreopsis facts.

Coreopsis flowers produce a beautiful rich orange dye and the instructions will show you how to create dye baths for a solid dye, semi solid or bundle-dye for speckled effects. The yarn is natural grey in colour and has been pre-mordanted for improved light and wash fastness.

Care Instructions
Hand washing in cool water using a suitable wool detergent is recommended. A little colour may bleed during the first wash which is perfectly normal and a feature of natural dying.
