Ginger Pink Plant-Dyed Advent Calendar 2024

For this year's Advent calendar my inspiration is the beautiful painting 'The Soul of the Rose' by Pre-Raphaelite artist John William Waterhouse. The Pre-Raphaelite movement has been a favourite of mine since I was a young girl and I think this particular painting perfectly encapsulates the tones produced in my plant-dyed yarns.

Each box will contain 24 individually packaged 20g mini skeins in a blend of 100% British Wool from the Devon Naturals collection spun by John Arbon. The skeins will be a mix of solid and semi-solid colours all in complimentary seasonal hues and, as you journey through the calendar, you will see a pretty gradient of colours develop. There will also be a couple of surprise gifts.
