Ginger Pink Plant-Dyed Advent Calendar 2023

This exclusive advent calendar is a limited edition of 10. 

Each box will contain 24 individually packaged 20g mini skeins in a blend of 100% British Bluefaced Leicester and Masham wool in 4 ply. Each skein will be a different colour, produced with plant-based dyes using various dyeing techniques. The skeins will be a mix of solid colours and speckled effects, all in complimentary seasonal hues.

There will also be some lovely surprises over the 24 days of advent including the opportunity to create your own plant-dyed yarn, grow your own dye plants with seeds from my garden, handmade stitch markers and hand printed Christmas gift tags. You will also learn lots of interesting facts about the history of plant-dyes. 

This advent calendar will be very special and a little bit different to the usual.

In your exclusive plant-dyed advent calendar you'll receive:

-24 x 20g mini skeins of British Blue Faced Leicester/Masham in a range of different speckled and solid colours, each one individually wrapped.

-Hand made stitch markers

-Hand printed Christmas gift labels

-Mordanted mini skein and dried dye-plants to create your own custom yarn 
(this will count as one of the 24 days)

-Woad seeds to grow your own dye plants.
